About Office Depot:

Office Depot, Incorporated, is a U.S. corporation that deals in specialty office supplies. The products and services it specializes in include office supplies, furniture, copy and printing services, and even shipping services.

The company was founded by F. Patrick Sher, Stephen Daughtery, and Jack Kopkin over three decades ago in 1986. The first Office Depot office was located in Lakes Mall in Florida, and it opened in October of 1986. Currently, the company has over 1,300 locations and it is publicly listed in the NASDAQ stock exchange after going public in December 1988, two years after it was launched. It also has brands like OfficeMax, Grand & Toy, TUL, Ativa and Foray under its wing.

At the moment, it has total sales of $11 billion and it also employs nearly 38.000 associates in the U.S. Its operations are focused on North America, and it also runs eCommerce sites in addition to the physical locations.

Office Depot has been involved in some mergers and acquisitions. This began in 1991 when it merged with Office Club, which gave it a presence in the West Coast. The company was also able to have operations in the Australian and European market after acquiring Viking Direct in 1998. Viking Direct would then go on to have operations in Central America after having stores in Costa Rica, Guatemala, and El Salvador. However, the company sold off its European office, which it had acquired Viking Direct in 2017. In 2013, the company merged with OfficeMax. A year later in 2014, it had to close 400 stores after a reduction in sales and the fact that customers were preferring online retailers. In 2017, the company bought CompuCom, a technology services firm in 2017, which positioned the corporation as a competitor to Amazon Web Services. Office Depot involved in environmental initiatives, and it also has sponsorship deals such as the 2005 NASCAR sponsorship. It has also sponsored a number of racers.

How to Use Coupon Codes

Office Depot has several coupons to offer its customers. You can get these deals on the official website as well as through popular coupon sites. Here is how to use the codes.

  1. Decide on the products you want to purchase from Office Depot
  2. Find out the discount offers available on these products from the official site or coupon code websites. Some coupon offers are for specific products, while others are for all the purchases you make from the site. You can compare and see which coupon offers will give you the best discount.
  3. Go to the Office Depot site and start the purchase process by adding the products you want to purchase to the shopping cart.
  4. Start the checkout process by clicking on the shopping cart at the upper right corner of the page and proceed until you get to the payments page where you will get an option to enter your coupon code for a discount.
  5. Ensure you enter a relevant code and click to activate the code. If accepted, the discount will be applied to the purchase you are making and you will see your final price with the discount offer included.
  6. After that, you can make your payment less the discount you have been offered. You might get pretty good discounts of even more than 50% depending on the products you are buying or the season in which you are making the purchase.
  7. How to Connect with Office Depot

To get in touch with Office Depot, as with many other companies, you can write an email, fill out a contact form, or even call them on 1-800-GO-DEPOT (1-800-463-3768). You can call them on their number any time of the day, all days of the week with regard to issues like making orders, deliveries, and even available products. You can also get them on social media such as on Facebook and Twitter.

Refund Policy

Office Depot has a refund policy. However, without the original receipt, you can only get a merchandise card exchange for the product you had purchased. But the sale has to be active on the company’s computer system. The exchange can happen in the form of Office Depot or OfficeMax Merchandise Card with an amount that represents the lowest retail price for the product over the previous 90 days. Technology, furniture, and software should be returned within 14 days together with the original receipt. However, office supplies and ink toner have to be returned within 30 days. However, technology products will attract a 15% restocking fee. Some products, for instance, phone cards and pre-paid gift cards cannot be returned or exchanged.
